Product Overview
The 5400CK Series is a Grade 2 cylindrical knob lockset that shares the 5400 chassis with the 5400LN lever series. It is specified for commercial, institutional, and multi-family openings where a traditional knob is required for aesthetic or historical reasons.
ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 certified, UL/cUL 3-hour fire-rated, ADA-exempt (knob-style trim is not ADA-compliant — see the 5400LN for accessible openings), field-reversible non-handed, and compatible with standard 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backsets.
The 5400CK covers the full commercial function set: Passage, Privacy, Entry, Storeroom, Classroom, Utility/Institutional, and Dummy configurations. Cylinders match the Accentra keyway palette for consistent master-keying across a building. 3-year limited warranty.
