PR1902/4 Door Closer - Parallel Rigid NHO

The 1900 Series is a tri-packed, multi-sized door closer that simplifies specification and installation across a wide range of openings. A single closer body covers spring sizes 1 through 4 — installers adjust the spring force on-site using the easy-access power-adjust valve — eliminating the need to stock different sizes for different door widths.

ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 certified with UL/cUL 10C 3-hour fire rating, the 1900 delivers controlled closing for doors up to 200 lbs with separate sweep, latch, and optional backcheck and delayed-action valves. Regular (1902), parallel-rigid (PR1902), and parallel-arm (PA1902) configurations are available, along with 12 and 14 series variants for hold-open and stop functions.

Aluminum-alloy cast body with full metal cover resists denting in high-traffic corridors. ADA-compliant opening-force adjustment, standard non-handed installation, and a 10-year warranty make the 1900 a workhorse specification for schools, healthcare, and retail environments.
