Product Overview
Steelcraft CRS (Cold-Rolled Steel) doors are interior-rated 18- or 16-gauge steel doors engineered for commercial offices, schools, healthcare, and light-industrial openings. The face sheets are bonded to an insulated polystyrene or honeycomb core, then edge-sealed and factory-welded for dimensional stability.
All Steelcraft CRS doors meet ANSI A250.8 Level 3 (Extra Heavy Duty) performance requirements. UL/cUL fire ratings up to 90 minutes are available with appropriate labeled frames and hardware; temperature-rise listings (250°F / 450°F) and positive-pressure ratings meet IBC and NFPA 80 requirements.
Standard preps include hinge mortises, lock edge prep (cylindrical or mortise), closer reinforcement, and exit-device reinforcement at specified door size (2668, 2868, 3068, 3070, 3080, etc.). Configurable prep codes — LC1 (cylindrical lock), LM0 (mortise), LL3 (mortise with deadbolt), LP4 (lockset with pull), PR1 (pair with removable mullion), PV3 (pair with vertical rod) — cover the full hardware spectrum. Factory gray prime finish.
