Product Overview
BSC drywall steel door frames in the 5-7/8" jamb depth are engineered for 3-5/8" metal stud walls with 5/8" gypsum board on each side — the standard interior partition assembly in commercial construction. 16-gauge A60 galvanneal steel, fully welded corners, factory-prepped for all standard hardware.
ANSI A250.8 Level 3 Heavy Duty, UL/cUL fire-rated up to 90 minutes (with appropriate labeled door and hardware). Knockdown (three-piece) and fully welded configurations available; knockdown frames ship flat for easier field handling and are assembled with factory-fit corner connectors.
Frames ship prepped for 4-1/2" hinges and ASA strike. Metal-stud Z anchors, stud anchors (Slip In), and floor anchors are sold separately to match the specific wall type. Factory gray prime finish.
