Product Overview
BSC drywall steel door frames in the 7-1/8" jamb depth are engineered for 6" metal stud walls with 5/8" gypsum board each side. 16-gauge A60 galvanneal steel, fully welded corners, factory hardware preps.
ANSI A250.8 Level 3 Heavy Duty with UL/cUL fire ratings up to 90 minutes. Knockdown and welded configurations available; standard three-sided assembly with hinge, strike, and head. Blank-jamb variants available for sidelites and transoms.
Standard preps include 4-1/2" hinge reinforcements and ASA strike. Metal-stud Z anchors (5-1/2" to 8") sold separately as Z1-500/612/800 line items. Factory gray prime finish.
