Product Overview
BSC drywall steel door frames in the 8-1/4" jamb depth are engineered for 8" metal stud walls with gypsum board each side — common in corridor demising walls and fire separations. 16-gauge A60 galvanneal steel, welded corners and integral stops.
ANSI A250.8 Level 3 Heavy Duty, UL/cUL fire-rated up to 90 minutes. Knockdown and welded configurations; hinge, strike, and blank-jamb variants cover three-sided and sidelite applications.
Preps for 4-1/2" hinges and ASA strike are standard. Metal-stud Z anchors sized for the specific stud depth are sold separately. Factory gray prime ready for field paint.
