Product Overview
The 1500 Series is an ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 heavy-duty exit device engineered for schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings with extreme traffic demands. A full-width push pad with a low-profile cross-section delivers smooth panic egress while resisting vandalism and accidental actuation.
The family covers every egress configuration: 1500 rim, 1510 surface vertical rod (SVR), 1520 concealed vertical rod (CVR), and 1530 mortise. Fire-rated F variants are UL/cUL 10C listed for 3-hour positive-pressure doors and meet NFPA 80 requirements. Non-fire variants are ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 panic-listed.
Standard features include hex-key dogging (non-fire), deadlatching latchbolts with stainless steel anti-pry guards, field-reversible non-handed mechanism, and an integrated end-cap stabilizer. Lever, knob, night-latch, and dummy trims are available in the complete ANSI finish palette. 3-year limited warranty.
