1800 Rim Exit Device - Panic

The 1800 Series is an ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 rim exit device designed for heavy commercial, institutional, and educational openings. The full-width cross-bar push actuator covers more than half the door width, meeting egress code on the widest openings, and the device is UL listed for panic hardware on non-fire doors and for 3-hour fire doors in the 1800F variant.

A heavy-duty latch with deadlatching feature resists loiding and forced entry. The 1800 supports doors up to 48" wide and is available in rim, surface vertical rod (SVR), concealed vertical rod (CVR), and mortise configurations. Standard features include a hex-key dogging mechanism (non-fire), end cap stabilizer, and non-handed installation that reduces inventory for facility managers.

Lever and knob trims, night latch, classroom, storeroom, and dummy functions are all available. Every 1800 device is ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified, ADA compliant, and backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
