Masonry Frame 4-3/4"

BSC masonry steel door frames in the 4-3/4" jamb depth are specified for partition walls, interior masonry openings, and historical-matching retrofits where existing jamb depths are non-standard. Frames are manufactured from 16-gauge A60 galvanneal or cold-rolled steel with factory-welded corners and fully welded integral stops.

All BSC frames are built to ANSI A250.8 (SDI-100) Level 3 Heavy Duty standards, with optional UL/cUL fire ratings up to 90 minutes depending on opening size. Standard configurations include 3-sided (hinge jamb, strike jamb, head) assembly, with optional blank jambs for sidelite or double-egress applications.

Frames ship prepped for ASA 4-7/8" × 1-1/4" strike, 4-1/2" × 4-1/2" hinges, and standard closer and exit-device reinforcements. Wall anchors (masonry T, wire, Z, slip-in) and floor anchors are available as accessories. Finish: factory prime-coated (gray), ready for field paint.
