Product Overview
BSC masonry steel door frames in the 8-1/4" jamb depth are specified for 8" masonry walls with an additional furring layer or for double-leaf construction. 16-gauge A60 galvanneal or cold-rolled steel, fully welded corners and stops.
ANSI A250.8 Level 3 Heavy Duty, UL/cUL fire-rated up to 90 minutes. Three-sided assembly is standard; blank-jamb and cased-opening configurations available for complex elevations. 4" face profile and reinforced blocks (RFB) for heavy closers and exit devices are ordered as options.
Preps include standard 4-1/2" hinge reinforcements, ASA strike, and configurable closer, exit, and electric-strike reinforcements. Anchoring and floor anchors sold separately to match wall construction. Factory gray prime.
